Dogs are some of the purest animals out there. For our canine friends, the smallest day-to-day things, like going for a walk or mom or dad coming home from work, are always a cause for total elation. Most dogs would agree that there’s nothing more exciting than exploring nature – but for some, it’s harder than it is for others.
Salima Sally Kadaoui rescues stray, sufferɪɴɢ dogs from the streets and provides them with a loving forever home with her rescue, the SFT Animal Sanctuary. Taking on caring for these dogs is no easy feat, but seeing their moments of joy makes it so worth it. As they share on their website, “to us, every life is precious.”
A video captured the precious moment a group of 18 ᴅ.ɪsᴀʙʟᴇᴅ dogs, all with wheelchairs in tow, ran, played, and splashed along the beach in Morocco.
Despite only having working front legs, the dogs put on an impressive speed as they raced alongside Salima from one end of the beach to the other.
There are dogs of all sizes on the beach, from a tiny corgi to a large german shepherd. It’s an eye-opener to just how much of a life-saving invention the doggy wheelchair has been.
“They loved the beach,” Salima said, according to the video description.
Thankfully, Salima rarely gives in on her pooches, knowing that it’s still possible for them to live life to the full – as long as they can adapt to a new way of living. This certainly looks like a fun-loving bunch, and it’s fantastic that Salima has been able to give these pups the life they deserve.
