We love celebrating the unique differences of cats almost as much as we love nodding humorously in agreement over the similarities every cat seems to offer us. Willow the cat is not an ordinary feline who exhibits God-gifted outward beauty. She was a stray cat roaming and wandering on the street, where she met her kind-hearted human.
Lori Farris is a 50-year-old special needs teacher. One day, when she was leaving work, she came across a kitten that did not appear to be in good shape. The stray kitty appeared to have [ɪɴꜰᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴs] on her nose, have fleas on her uncleaned body. Surely she hadn’t been taken care of, but that doesn’t mean the woman would turn away from this tiny cat. Farris didn’t have any second thoughts, she scooped the cat and brought it home.
A few days later, Farris took the kitten to the vet. She then learned that this female kitten was only 5 weeks old. At 5 weeks old she was a scared, tiny kitten weighing only 10oz and sick. But within 2 years, thanks to the devotion and love of the human who found her, she was thriving.
However, there was one thing that Lori had to consider. The vet declared that they have to put Willow down because she resembled a feline [Dᴏᴡɴ’s Sʏɴᴅʀᴏᴍᴇ] In fact, scientifically, cats do not have [Dᴏᴡɴ’s Sʏɴᴅʀᴏᴍᴇ] although their unusual features can confuse many vets and other people. Moreover, due to her bad-looking outlook, she needed to be .eu.thanized. Regardless of those reasons, Lori still showed compassion to this poor kitty, so the woman brought her home and offered her a wonderful life.
Willow is now about two years old, and she is completely happy and healthy. She now even has her own Instagram with over 136,000 followers. Many of her photos include her wearing flowers on her head or a cute hat.
Lori said Willow is madly in love with a lot of floral hats, which is absolutely adorable. Also, despite her unusual appearance, each one of Willow’s photos are adorable.
“I’m okay with people saying she’s weird-looking because she is, but I don’t like when people call her ugly, retarded, or gross,” Farris said.

She is living a healthy and wholesome life with a lot of cute costumes, flowers, and her Boxer dog friend, Ella.
