If you have been spending any amount of time on the internet, you have probably encountered a fair amount of cat-related pictures and videos. It can hardly be denied that cats have become so prevalent in the digital world thanks to their funny pictures. I still remembered the day when I was on my bed surfing social media and couldn’t help laughing over a viral selfie of a cat with his animal friends. The picture was so cool, so impressive that I had to google search for other related ones.
A selfie taken by Manny, the selfie-loving cat, is already being called the best of 2017. I try to avoid hyperbole so know that I mean to be taken literally when I say that this is in fact, the best selfie of the year.
Cats are the ‘master’ of selfies, and their pictures will certainly amaze you!
Manny was actually a stray cat who walked onto Yorem and his wife’s property out of the blue. From the looks of it, he clearly needed a place to live and the couple welcomed him into their home.
It was actually Manny that made the decision for them.
“He just showed up one day and hasn’t left,” Yorem told.
It didn’t take long for the gray tabby to become best friends with the couple’s other dogs and cats.
In fact, he was so friendly and lovable that he soon became the “alpha” of the pack!
Manny also started to make a regular appearances in Yorem’s Instagram photos.
Sometimes he’s pictured by himself, but he’s mostly pictured alongside different members of his fur family.
After only a few photoshoots, it became apparent to Yorem that Manny loved being in the spotlight.
“He is very curious, and whenever I take pics of my dogs, he basically ‘photobombs’ the camera and tries to take it from me,” Yorem said.
Yorem described Manny as “the most intelligent, inquisitive cat we’ve ever had”.
