On his 31st birthday, this rescue grey seal named Yulelogs got surprised with a giant ice cake filled with fish, and as you can see, the good boy wasn’t able to contain his joy.

The adorable seal, Yulelogs, recently celebrated his 31st birthday, and naturally, all his friends wanted to make sure that it was a day to remember.
Typically, male grey seals don’t tend to ʟɪᴠᴇ past 25, but Yulelogs is an energetic, happy, and ꜰᴇɪsᴛʏ senior.
Yulelogs Was Rescued Back In 1989 By A Marine Park In The North Of England
Yulelogs has lived in the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, in Cornwall, England, since 1993, following a brief stint in the wild.
The seal was just a little pup when he was taken in by a marine park in 1989, and he spent several years living at the park as part of their exhibit on Grey seals.
After four years, the park closed the exhibit and decided to release Yulelogs into the wild. However, after having spent so much time in ᴄᴀᴘᴛɪᴠɪᴛʏ, Yulelogs was not ready to take care of himself. He was used to people just handing him treats, and he began ᴄʜᴀsɪɴɢ after people holding buckets on the beach because he assumed the buckets were filled with tasty fish.
Now Yulelogs Lives In Cornish Seal Sanctuary, And He Just Turned 31
The RSPCA received reports about the ʜᴜɴɢʀʏ seal chasing ᴄᴏɴꜰᴜsᴇᴅ beach-goers and promptly contacted the Seal Sanctuary for help.
And so, after three months on his own, Yulelogs moved into the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and has been happily ᴍᴜɴᴄʜɪɴɢ on their fish ever since.
Yulelogs loves his comfortable life at the sanctuary, and when he received his ꜰɪsʜʏ birthday cake, the chubby boy was ᴇᴄsᴛᴀᴛɪᴄ; he ɢʀɪɴɴᴇᴅ as wide as he could and positively shone with joy and excitement.
The birthday cake was not only a tasty treat but also doubled as a ʙʀᴀɪɴ ᴛᴇᴀsᴇʀ, and Yulelogs had an absolute blast trying to figure out how to get access to the delicious fish best.
Yulelogs Will Have A New Life With His New Family
For the staff at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Yulelogs’s birthday celebration was a chance to show appreciation for one of their most beloved residents.
“Yulelogs is such an important part of our family here at the sanctuary,” said a spokesperson. “We wanted to make sure he had an extraordinary day to celebrate his 31st birthday, and we’re thrilled he enjoyed his cake so much.”
For Yulelogs, his 31st birthday was a day to remember, a chance to indulge in his favorite foods and enjoy the company of his caretakers. And for those who love animals, it’s a reminder of the special bond between humans and the creatures we share this planet with.
