Owner Leaves Her iPad Unattended, Finds A Bunch Of Her 7-Month-Old Cat’s Selfies And A Lot Of His Hair

Cats are smarter than we think. They can do anything when they set their mind on it. They can apparently take pictures with our mobile devices too, as one owner recently learned.
We’re not joking. The 7-month-old cat named Er Niu was apparently finagling with the device and had heaps upon heaps of selfies taken of him whilst he was posing for the camera. And by posing, we mean staring at it and occasionally grooming himself.
A Chinese woman recently shared her experience online after leaving her iPad unattended for a while. She lives with two rescue cats so you know she’s got her hands full. After a few hours, she needed her iPad again and noticed that the screen was full of cat hair. It’s a normal sight so he just brushed the hairs off and unlocked her device.
And then a surprise. The Photos app opened up and there was a bunch of selfies taken by one of her cats. The cat probably opened the camera app by mistake, and then saw herself on the screen. She tapped and unknowingly took pictures of a good grooming section. There were a few dozen pics, so she obviously didn’t think about space.
Reportedly, the owner of the two cats is an international student in Australia and the owner of two rescue cats: Er Niu and Xiao Ai. The discovery of the photos was shared on the Chinese video site Douyin and soon became a hit on the internet. Needless to say, people loved it, with over 25,000 internauts liking the video on the social video media site. It is still a good question as to how Er Niu learned this and who he was going to send the selfies to anyway, but you gotta admit, that’s one smart cat.
OK, the selfies are probably an accident, but even if it’s so, it’re still adorable.
