While all dogs are unique in their own way, some of them are born to become Internet sensations. Lately, a 20-month-old Great Dane went viral. Even pretty young, Enzo is already weighing 150 pounds and his perfect resemblance to the movie Character Batman brought him huge popularity on Instagram.
A Great Dane named Enzo, with his tall, pointed ears and massive muscles have stricken the internet with his resemblance to everyone’s favorite superhero from Gotham.
“He is very muscular for a Dane and his fur is very shiny,” Danny Lemay, Enzo’s dad, told. “His pointy ears make him look like Batman.”
The beautiful dog lives with his parents Danny Lemay and Stéphanie Godin in Quebec, Canada. Nonetheless, he’s so massive and scary looking, Enzo is nothing but a gentle giant. Always friendly and playful, the Great Dane shares a very strong bond with his parents, who take him everywhere.
“He’s always with us,” Danny told “He’s like a human for us. I bring him everywhere with me – hiking every week and on walks in the woods every day. He is always happy and wants to play and cuddle everybody and every other dog.”
Enzo became very popular on social media due to his pointy ears who make him look like Batman. The massive dog has more than 30,000 followers on Instagram alone, but judging by his latest photos you can easily understand he’s a social-media rising star.
“He got so popular on Instagram and our followers love that he looks like some sort of mad beast when he really isn’t,” Danny said. “We often receive comments saying Enzo looks like Batman and some of our followers call Enzo bat dog. He really does look like Batman in real life. His ears are even similar. We love it.”
A majestic creature by nature, Enzo always steals the spotlights. Whether he’s walking on the streets or posing for the camera, the Great Dane’s uniqueness catches all the eyes. When he’s not posing, Enzo loves to hike with his parents.
” Most of the time, Great Danes are known as fearful dogs. They don’t like the cold and are afraid of many things,” Lemay said. “Enzo’s braver and more courageous. He likes to impose himself, bark very loudly and guard the house.”
“He’s so majestic,” Enzo’s human said. “Every time we go out, people look at him but it all just seems so natural to him. Many people get scared when they see Enzo but his only goal is to see people and cuddle.”
Thanks to his unique look, Enzo has become something of a local celebrity — but unlike Batman, he can’t transform into Bruce Wayne to avoid attention. Luckily, Enzo is always happy to greet his adoring fans and soak up the love.
