When these daring frogs clambered atop the back of a caiman to dance the conga, they exhibited no fear.
The five tree frogs crawled up the reptile’s leg and huddled together on its back, with the first amphibian teetering only inches from its teeth.
Tanto Yensen, 36, of Jakarta, snapped the photographs with his Canon EOS 60D while visiting Tangerang, Indonesia.
The little tree frogs, whose colors range from brilliant green to brown, can be seen clinging to one another as they catch a free ride on the caiman’s back.
The caiman appeared amused, but it didn’t seem to dislike its new buddies. Caimans consume frogs, snails, freshwater crayfish, spiders, and tiny lizards.

Tanto Yensen, 36, of Jakarta, snapped the photographs with his Canon EOS 60D while visiting Tangerang, Indonesia. The first frog was observed valiantly climbing the caiman’s leg – but the larger reptile didn’t appear to notice.
The frog then hopped down the caiman’s back, inspiring the other tree frogs to do the same. One of the larger tree frogs let a smaller brilliant green frog hop onto its back, allowing it to climb on the caiman.
The final frog was witnessed assisting one of its companions by pulling up its rear legs so it could leap on the back of the caiman. The five little tree frogs then huddled together and danced the conga atop the caiman’s back.
