Everyone who adopts a dog needs to give serious thought to the fact that they are essentially bringing a kid into their home and not a piece of furniture that they are free to get rid of whenever they feel like they have outgrown them or become uninterested in caring for them.
A video that has gone viral because of the upsetting content is ʜᴜʀᴛing people’s hearts all around the globe. In the video, two individuals on a motorbike are seen pushing their dog into the street, and they then quickly ride away.
In the video that was filmed in Medellín, Colomʙɪᴀ, you can see how the dog runs after them and then tries to jump onto the motorcycle in a ᴅᴇsᴘᴇʀᴀᴛᴇ attempt not to be left alone.
The poor dog had placed so much trust in his owners that he was unable to accept the fact that he was being ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ. As a result, he begins to chase after the motorcycle and attempts to jump in several times, but his owners push him off every time he gets close.
The poor dog continues to run after the motorcycle and puts himself in ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀof the oncoming traffic. He nearly gets hit several times. But the owners just keep going, it’s clear they’re going to abandon their dog. The heartbreaking images immediately went viral as so many people were sʜᴏᴄᴋed and angry by what they saw.
It was completely inexcusable; how someone could see their closest companion or a member of their family go through such a ᴘᴀɪɴғᴜʟ experience of betrayal and then be so emotionless as to go on with their trip as if they had not shattered the fragile heart of the small puppy was beyond me. Our dogs are always happy to see us, it doesn’t matter how long we’ve been away, they always welcome us with a wagging tail. They notice if we are sad and are a great comfort in times of need. Our four-legged friends are wonderful and integral family members.
