Breeze the horse has grown up, yet he recognized Buttons the bear, who had offered him tremendous comfort three years ago.
The Mare and Foal Sanctuary in Devon took in the Dartmoor Hill pony after he was discovered sc.ar.ed and malnourished following his birth in May 2013.
“Reunited after three years, we could see how happy Breeze was to have his mate back!” stated Deputy Yard Manager Nicola Anstey. Breeze decided to give Buttons a tour of his new stable and carried him around by his ear after a lot of sniffing and licking.
“We figured Buttons wouldn’t want Breeze sitting on him again now that he’s all grown up, so we nestled the bear up to Breeze and he blissfully snoozed the afternoon away.”
