Tama is a beautiful Calico cat who railway officials ordained as station chief at Kishi Station, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, in 2007. Her official duty is to greet passengers and look cute.

Felicette is the first and only Cat to return to earth after traveling into space. On October 18, 1963, Felicette was launched into space by the French aviation agency. After the people of Talkeetna, Alaska, didn’t like every human candidate in the local mayoral election, they decided to vote for a ꜰᴇʀᴀʟ cat that roams around town, Stubbs. Stubbs’ mayor’s office was established at the town’s grocery store, and the cat mayor stayed there for 20 years until his retirement.
